Historically, we have tested linear joint seals in 150mm thick rigid walls and floors. However, after reoccurring customer feedback that many brick or block walls are now just 100 or 130mm thick, we tested our Intufoam Linear Gap Seal product to cover wall thickness of just 100mm.

Our R&D team has been developing and testing more solutions for service penetrations that provide 120 minutes integrity and insulation.
We have tested copper and steel pipes up to 108mm in diameter with continuous sustained rockfibre insulation (25 to 50mm thick).

We now have further test data for 160mm PVC pipes in double batt using the QuelCoil Continuous Wrap. This also includes 160mm pneumatic pipes, which only have a wall thickness of just 3.2mm.
