A 43 storey tower of high class, luxury apartments situated in the heart of Croydon. Berkeley Homes had a requirement for an EN tested, easy to install solution for fire stopping 220x90mm plastic ventilation ducting where it penetrated 2 hour fire rated plasterboard partitions. Quelfire QRS Intumescent Fire Sleeves ticked every box and were installed throughout this iconic building.

With oversized holes at each floor level where the plastic HDPE pipes were penetrating the concrete floor, St Edward Homes needed a solution that would provide a 2 hour fire barrier to stop fire spreading throughout the building and to protect its residents should a fire happen to break out in one of the apartments. With Quelfire QWW Intuwraps, QF2 Fire Protection Compound, MW Slab installed as a system here they can be sure they have time to evacuate the building should they need to.
One Tower Bridge Luxury Apartments
With thousands of plastic electric socket boxes installed in fire rated plasterboard partition systems, the contractor needed a quick and easy product to install that would maintain the fire rating and acoustic rating of the partition. Quelfire Intumescent & Acoustic Putty Pads moulded into the back of each socket box was the answer.
