We Won the ‘Goods Partner of the Year’ Award at Willmott Dixon’s LCO Event

Award Winners at Willmott Dixon’s LCO Event

Following Willmott Dixon’s Annual General Meeting on the 5th of December, we’re unbelievably pleased to announce that we were awarded the ‘Goods Partner of the Year’ award on behalf of the London & East LCO and Supply Chain Team.

The AGM takes place every year, bringing the company together to celebrate the LCO’s achievements. The awards also recognise those who work alongside Willmott Dixon and continue to collaborate and provide their teams with industry-leading services across all their businesses.

Willmott Dixon on why Quelfire were nominated and successfully selected as Goods Partner for 2024:

“Quelfire stands out as Goods Partner as they not only provide excellent products, but they also provide excellent and continued support of the design team during preconstruction and the operations team during the construction phase through their technical department, who are always available and able to answer any queries and provide solutions for any details.

The technical advice and assistance provided are invaluable in detailing and designing compliance risks out of projects from the earliest outset. This covers ways to comply with tested details and building regulations, and reviews the most efficient and best practice design.

Their advice and service are always available whenever needed, and their options are thorough and offered quickly.

Without the support of Quelfire, we would have big risks of compliance with fire detailing outstanding on projects. The service provided is excellent, and the products they provide are industry-leading in terms of availability of tested details.”

We’d like to express our thanks to the Willmott Dixon team for the recognition!

At Quelfire, we firmly believe that a building must be constructed around suitably tested details. A compliant building does not happen on its own. It takes an army of companies, trades, and individuals all built on the same foundations of integrity, honesty, and trust.

Competency, particularly the SKEB framework, is a frequent topic of discussion, but we believe it’s the behavioural aspect that ultimately ensures a building’s compliance.

Over the years, we have built fantastic working relationships with the Willmott Dixon team, who constantly strive to improve. We are committed to supporting their teams as we work together to protect people and property through early engagement, collaboration, and robust, tested firestopping details.

We want to extend our congratulations to those who also won awards:
