One of the unique details we have tested is with metal socket boxes. Unlike other manufacturers, which typically have an allowance of 200mm, we now have an allowance for a gap of 20mm between two electric socket boxes. Another unique feature we have tested is a 5mm gap between the socket box and the last layer of plasterboard.

With Quelfire’s putty pad classification report, Alec Purdie talks about one of the unique applications we have tested.

One of these unique details is that we have tested our Acoustic Intumescent Putty Pads in metal socket boxes within a single-skin plasterboard wall, which can be insulated or uninsulated.

Another unique detail that we have tested in this type of supporting construction is putty pads in metal media panels.
