Supporting fire safety professionals in educating the industry

In addition to working together with organisations directly involved in firestopping, we also support parties that:

  • are involved in an advisory role, such as fire engineers, building/ fire safety consultants, fire risk assessors, or building surveyors;
  • oversee projects on a high level, typically anyone involved from property developers, local councils, housing associations;
  • need to educate themselves, or any other parties, about the process of designing and installing firestopping systems. For example, fire protection officers, representatives of fire and rescue services, quality managers, or anyone in charge of improving internal processes around firestopping systems.

What we offer:

High-level education

As part of our mission to educate the industry, we host CPD training on ‘Effective Passive Fire Protection for Service Penetrations in Buildings.’

The training raises awareness on the importance of early engagement in firestopping and ensures compliant design and installations. It also provides an overview of the solutions available. We offer the training as a dedicated session (virtual or face to face) to organisations bringing 10+ delegates. We also present it in a form of a webinar that is available for anyone in the industry to join.

We firmly believe in the importance of early engagement and working together with all parties involved in a construction project, from design to installation.

We offer a range of value-added services to further support our customers and regular consultations, if required, to identify the needs of the project.

Extensive resource of information

Our social media platforms are a great way to keep up to date with all regulations, our tested details, and industry news. We post regularly on LinkedIn, and our YouTube channel hosts a variety of useful videos from tested details to how-to videos to more generic educational information.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve the user experience. We answer all frequently asked questions on our Knowledge Hub page; this page hosts a variety of useful facts and information which can be accessed by anyone.

Another highly beneficial section to our website is the Glossary. From A-Z, we have provided short definitions of keywords commonly used in the construction industry, especially in the fire industry.
