Celebrating Chloe & Glenn’s Level 3 IFE Exam Success

Celebrating Chloe & Glenn’s Level 3 IFE Exam Success

We’re pleased to announce that Chloe Miller, Technical Advisor, and Glenn Hutchins, Technical Client Relations Manager, have successfully passed the IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection.

This great achievement stems from their hard work and commitment to fire safety. It also formally recognises their knowledge and skills as professionals in the passive fire protection field.

IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection

The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) is an educational platform for fire safety professionals across the industry. The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations (Ofqual) recognises and structures its certificates.

Created to improve and promote education in fire engineering, with the overall aim of protecting and saving lives, these examinations allow those undertaking them to demonstrate their professional competence.

The IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection is a respected certification in the fire safety industry, developed by the IFE and the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP).

The ASFP brings together manufacturers, contractors, and certification bodies, and focuses on raising standards and improving competence in the passive fire protection sector.

This qualification is made up of two sections:

  • Section 1: Fire and Fire Protection
  • Section 2: Installation of Passive Fire Protection Measures

The goal is to ensure that fire safety professionals involved in designing, installing, or inspecting fire systems are competent.

For Chloe and Glenn, this is a big personal achievement. It shows their hours of study and knowledge of passive fire. It also reflects their commitment to learning and growing in their careers.

As Glenn said, “This qualification has definitely helped solidify what we know and areas to improve. It certainly reinforces how important it is to keep learning in this industry.”

Continuous Learning in Fire Safety

At Quelfire, we believe professional development and training are critical, especially in our industry. Fire affects everyone, and to work in this field, we all need to continuously adapt to best practices and new regulations.

With an open mind and a willingness to improve our own competencies and accept support from those in parallel fields, collaboration can become standard practice.

This also helps us support our customers with the best possible knowledge, with the overarching goal of protecting people and property. Because that is what it’s truly about.

Certifications like the IFE Level 3 in Passive Fire Protection are a huge personal achievement and a source of trust, allowing our customers to rely on us, knowing we are committed to staying up to date.

Craig Wells, Sales Director at Quelfire, said, “Chloe and Glenn’s achievement shows the hard work of our team. We recognise the effort and hours they put in, helping each other revise. Their knowledge supports those who rely on us. Congratulations!”
