Quelfire Celebrates Double Win at the ASFP Awards 2025

Quelfire Celebrates Double Win at the ASFP Awards 2025

We are proud to share that at the ASFP Awards on the 27th of November 2025, we received two awards: Marketing Campaign of the Year and Digital Innovation of the Year. We were also shortlisted for Best Customer Service.

Marketing Campaign of the Year

The ‘Because It’s Your Job to Know’ Campaign was launched in February 2024, during a period of substantial change and increased responsibilities in the construction industry. This came after the implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022.

The campaign was really designed to encourage people to take a moment to consider what they need to ‘know’ and the steps they need to take to get there.

It’s about taking responsibility in an industry where it’s all too easy to pass the blame, and recognising that fire safety must be a priority when so often it’s not.

The campaign aims to raise awareness and promote early engagement in firestopping, because fire safety is life safety.

This is what the judges had to say about why they selected Quelfire as the winner:

"Quelfire’s campaign stood out for driving a cultural shift that places collective responsibility at the heart of passive fire protection."

Digital Innovation of the Year

Digital Innovation was awarded to the QuelSelector Firestopping Solution Finder Tool. Launched in 2022, it was created to make the specification process easier for construction professionals.

It helps customers quickly identify the most suitable firestopping solutions for their applications, organised by substrate first and then by penetrating services.

Customer feedback on the QuelSelector has been highly positive. Stuart Wilson, Senior Architect at Lawray, stated: “I have found Quelfire to provide excellent service, with some superb technical literature, easily accessible through their online QuelSelector Tool. Each solution has an accompanying detail which we have added into our architectural firestopping package.”

The judges' notes for this category read:

Quelfire’s intuitive and free-to-use digital tool, transforming firestopping selection and compliance processes, took home the digital innovation award, reflecting its impact in reducing errors and increasing efficiency across the supply chain.”

Customer Service of the Year - Shortlisted

We were pleased to be shortlisted for this category: our focus on ‘you ask, we answer’ motivates us to respond quickly, honestly, and with integrity to support our customers as best as we can.

Customer Sam Hartopp, Fire Stopping Contracts Manager and Lead Quality Inspector at TBL Fire Protection, said: “I’ve found Quelfire to be extremely supportive and professional. Their responsiveness, technical knowledge, and commitment to delivering effective firestopping solutions have been excellent. They’ve consistently gone above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, making collaboration straightforward and reliable.”

As a team that truly cares about fire safety and supporting the construction industry, we were incredibly grateful to be recognised for these awards.

We’d like to extend our thanks to the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) for hosting an event that brings the industry together to celebrate all the hard work taking place, and our congratulations to all the other winners and shortlisted!
