I studied English and Journalism at the University of Chester from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, I kick-started my career in B2C marketing as a junior copywriter, gaining valuable experience throughout the year I was there. The opportunity to join Quelfire arose at the start of 2022, where I now create content designed to educate the construction industry and help protect people and property.
What She Does
My role is all about adapting technical topics into understandable content that helps the passive fire industry. Whether it's creating blogs, social media posts, videos, or white papers, I work closely with our team to make sure our customers have all the information they need for their projects.
My main goal is to make sure the content I produce is clear, accurate, and straightforward – per the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI). I also assist with various ad hoc marketing activities.
What Inspires Her
I enjoy brainstorming sessions, especially when ideas start to come together, helping me create relevant content. I also enjoy working on thought-leadership pieces, where I can thoroughly research a topic and learn more.
Editing long-form videos, like our ‘Burning Questions’ or ‘Meet the Contractor’ series, is also something I enjoy as I get to see the project develop from start to finish, and meet some great people from across the industry!
The Quelfire Experience
There is a real team spirit at Quelfire; everyone is passionate about our mission to protect people and property and is willing to share their expertise. You learn something new every day!
Off the Clock
I come from a big family and really enjoy our get-togethers. When we’re not together, I’m either with my friends, reading a book, or out for a run. I also love trying different foods and travelling to new places; this Christmas, I’m heading Down Under, where we have tickets to watch the Ashes!
