A trace heat cable is a cable taped to the pipework to prevent freezing, and while we’ve previously tested cables and insulated metal pipes separately, this combination hadn’t been tested before.
We’ve now completed testing on: Uninsulated copper pipes with trace heating cable and insulated pipes using foil-faced rock fibre.
