Say hello at the London Build Expo!
We’re exhibiting at the London Build Expo between 20-21 November this year. Have you registered for your free ticket yet?
This year, London Build is set to surpass all previous years, expanding to the Olympia London’s National Hall. Due to its remarkable growth, the London Build Fire & Security Expo will now be a standalone show; we’re excited to be part of this expansion. You can find us in the National Hall on Stand L76!
As always, plenty will go on over the two days, from panel discussions across 12 CPD stages and a Meet the Buyers and Architect’s Hub to industry networking and live entertainment. We’re looking forward to another year of this vibrant show and welcoming new and existing customers onto our stand.
What are we promoting this year at London Build?
If you had the opportunity to visit us at the Fire Safety Event earlier this year, you’ll notice that our messaging and stand elements remain consistent, aligning with our campaign, BECAUSE IT’S YOUR JOB TO KNOW.
Providing an accurate image of how products should work if designed and installed correctly, in line with the test evidence, the stand promotes the importance of early engagement in firestopping, collaboration, and selecting suitably tested solutions. Keep an eye out for some of the unique tested details we will have on display such as pipes at angles, busbars, and TracPipe.
In the ever-changing industry, especially since the Grenfell Tower fire, taking responsibility for your role on a project is critical. We all are responsible for understanding our roles in fire stopping and ‘why’ they must be taken seriously – to ensure compliant design and installations and, ultimately, to save lives.
Our stand encourages an open conversation around the topic of firestopping, and encourages those involved in the design and installation of firestopping systems to embrace the part they play.
On the show’s first day, at noon on the Fire Safety Stage, we’re hosting a panel discussion.
Titled “Navigating Gateway 2 Submissions – Experiences, Challenges, and Insights”
Joined by the industry professionals who worked on Willmott Dixon’s project, the Stage, this 50-minute discussion will touch on key topics such as the Building Safety Act, the challenges and positives of Gateway 2, and any key learning outcomes, while aiming to answer any outstanding queries.
The panellists are:
- Craig Wells, Sales Director – Quelfire
- Graeme Whitty, National Product Director – Willmott Dixon Construction
- James Felstead, Director – Child Graddon Lewis
- Jeremy Ockenden, Technical Director – Affinity Fire Engineering
- Tom Hughes, Principal Building Safety Consultant – Safer Sphere
Hayley Clay, Marketing Manager at Quelfire, said: “We’re so excited to be back at London Build, especially now that the Fire & Security Expo is a standalone event – it really shows how much the show has grown. This year, we’re focussing on having conversations about responsibility in firestopping, and the critical role it plays in protecting people and property. Come by Stand L76 and catch up with some new and familiar faces. We hope you can join us!”
