Josh Hutchins

At A-Level, I studied Business, Global Perspectives, and Law. These subjects helped me build confidence in communicating, understanding different viewpoints, and solving problems. Because of this, I developed an interest in working with and supporting others, which led to my current role as Internal Sales Account Manager at Quelfire.

My role covers a variety of responsibilities, including maintaining meaningful contact with our customers, answering inbound sales and pricing queries, and sending quotations. I also work with other departments, such as Technical and Despatch, to ensure customers’ questions are answered in a timely manner, as well as with the Business Development Managers to identify opportunities.

What I enjoy most is helping to solve challenges and allowing customers to feel supported and confident that they can rely on me. Building trust and making sure clients have a positive experience is really important to me; it’s great to build that rapport and strong working relationship.

There’s a positive atmosphere at Quelfire; everyone is easy to talk to. The culture is strong, supportive, and focused on doing what is right. I really enjoy the energy in team meetings and how everyone encourages each other. The regular supply of biscuits in the kitchen is also an added bonus…

When the weather is nice, I enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and friends, usually over some food. I also love playing with my two nieces and taking them to different places. As well as golf, I like to play darts, which is a great way to unwind. It’s a sport that reflects my keen eye for accuracy and my drive to improve at everything I do!
