How to use the Technical Information Collection Form (ICF)?

Help us to help you!

When it comes to service penetration sealing, there are many required variables, from different types of walls and floors to different types of services and fire ratings. These variables make a difference in determining the most suitable firestopping installation detail for the application in question. For us to provide you with the most relevant tested detail, we need as much specific information as possible.

For example, when it comes to a heating pipe, in addition to the size (diameter) of the pipe, the details of the substrate penetrated, and the required fire rating, we would need to know the material of the pipe (copper, plastic, or steel), whether it is insulated, and the thickness of any insulation. We must also know whether the application is a single or multi-service penetration.

To collect all this information most efficiently, we designed the Quelfire Technical Information Form (ICF) as an online and downloadable form that you can complete and return by email. See the links below.

(If you would like to browse, filter, and find the most suitable detail yourself, you can use our Standard Installation Detail Library or download our QuelSelector tool.)
