Adrian Paynter

I have worked in the construction sector for the last 23 years, starting with underground water storage tanks and petrol interceptors. In 2004, I moved on to working in the washroom market, selling to both specifiers and contractors. I was fortunate to be involved in some very high-profile, executive washroom installations, with my final project being the Coca-Cola headquarters. In 2012, an opportunity arose for me to change course slightly and work more locally, collaborating with landscape architects and contractors to provide solutions specifically for new tree planting in urban areas. After 11 years in the landscape industry, I have once again decided to pursue a new venture and have joined the team here at Quelfire.

My role here at Quelfire, as Business Development Manager, is to engage directly with both existing and new customers to provide firestopping solutions for their projects. This involves delivering training sessions, CPD presentations, and face-to-face visits.

I enjoy working for a company that is continually striving to be the best in what they do. It’s very rewarding knowing you’re contributing to a cause that really matters in terms of fire safety and construction standards.

Every team member is passionate about their role in the business, with a good team spirit. We believe that tested solutions are the right way and the only way when it comes to fire safety, and we are uncompromising in this stance. The hot lunch on a Friday is also a good weekly treat!

Living within a few miles of the Welsh border, family days out with a good BBQ in the Welsh countryside, preferably near water, are always enjoyable. That is provided it’s not raining!
