Concrete Screws for Firestopping Systems

Description

Quelfire Concrete Screws provide a reliable fixing solution for applications such as pattress-fitting the QuelStop Fire Batt to concrete.

As self-tapping masonry screws, they form their own threads during installation, eliminating the need for pre-drilled and threaded holes. This makes them quick and easy to install while delivering a strong and durable hold.

To support safe and compliant installations, these fire-rated concrete screws include:

  • TX25 TX Drive recess – minimises wear on tools and reduces the risk of camming-out.
  • Serrated V-threads – for optimum insertion and secure grip.
  • High-Low thread design – aiding ease of insertion into masonry and concrete.

Each pack contains 100 masonry screws, measuring 6 x 100mm, suitable for a range of concrete fixing applications.

Frequently Asked Questions About General Fixings

How do I choose the right fixing?

The correct fixing will depend on the substrate you are fixing into, the load it needs to support, and the environment it will be used in. Always follow the requirements set out in the relevant tested installation detail.

Can I use the same fixings for all substrates?

No, different substrates (e.g. plasterboard, masonry, concrete, timber) require different types of fixings to ensure a secure hold.

Do I need special tools to install fixings?

Basic tools like screwdrivers or drills are often enough, but some fixings may require specific installation tools.
